A total of eight students from the Educational Technology Study Program (Prodi) of the Faculty of Education, State University of Padang successfully passed the Independent Internship Program managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in the series of Merdeka Learning activities at the Merdeka Campus. Overall, UNP succeeded in passing as many as 25 students to take part in internships in various large partner companies from the Ministry.

Eight students of the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology FIP UNP who passed the Independent Learning Internship were related to student competence in the field of digital learning development which was really needed in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 and online learning which is currently being developed. Students of the Curriculum and Educational Technology Department are equipped with skills regarding Curriculum, Learning Design, Multimedia, Animation, Video, and TV Development, all of which are aimed at developing media, models, and learning systems.

Eight students who passed the Education Technology Study Program, namely, Aina Almardiyah (Indonesian Technology Assemblr – 3D Animator), Exela Nurfadilah (PT Stadikel Edukasi Teknologi- Curriculum and Instructional Developer). Next, Reyske Meisalya Dwanty (Integration Association for Educational Collaboration and Innovation-animator-designer of the independent learning teacher program (learning teacher foundation)), Anis Nurhamida (Telkom Indonesia – Graphic Design), Fadilla Mustika (Learning Content Developer – Technology Literacy Teacher Program (Websis) for Edu)) Rahmad Wahyu Darmawan (Alfa Class Vocational Development Program – PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk). Next up is Lara Febri Dwi Putri (Curriculum and Content Development – ​​Hasnur Center Foundation) Bella Ananda (Independent Teacher Internship – Cikal Teacher Campus).

Currently, there are quite a number of companies that provide digital learning content and this is an opportunity for Education Technology graduates. The FIP UNP Education Technology Study Program is currently accredited A and currently has a team of lecturers with expertise, curriculum, learning media, multimedia (AR and VR), development of HR training. The Independent Internship Program is a ministry program that provides internship opportunities for 6 months at a number of companies that are relevant to the link and match target between universities and the world of work.
