Padang – Having a certification is certainly a value added for every lecturer. With the official acknowledgment of the competencies possessed and guarantees, that individuals or institutions have advantages over others
To do this, the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology, State University of Padang included several lecturers to take part in the “Competency Certification Training for Presentation of Online Learning Materials” which was carried out by the BASS training center & consultant training institution under the auspices of BNSP. This training was carried out using Blended Learning, where the material was presented online on 5 July 2022 and the Competency Test Examination on 14 July 2022 which was conducted offline at the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology, Faculty of Computer Science, Padang State University.
This activity was attended by Daffa Muhammad Ardian, as the Director of the BASS training center & consultant and at the same time as a speaker in session 1, session 3, and session 4. On this occasion Daffa Muhammad Ardian explained that certification has many objectives including being able to help institutions, help quality-based learning development. competence, quality assurance tools for competition education and providing personal branding.
During the training learning activities, the presenters have explained, conducted questions and answers, and exercises that make participants understand the material quickly. In the competency test activity, participants perform individual assignments which are directly assessed by an assessor appointed by the BNSP.
