The Department of Educational Curriculum and Technology, Faculty of Education, State University of Padang organizes a National Webinar for teachers and administrators of School TV at several levels of education in West Sumatra Province. The activity was held on October 5 2021 online by presenting three speakers. The first resource person is Muhammad Rizki Albert Satria who is an Associate Producer ILC at TV One station. The second resource person is Rudi Nofindra, S.Pd., M.Pd.T who is the Sumatra Regional Chair of the Indonesian Broadcast Teachers Association (AGBI). The third resource person was Vico Benzito, S.Pd. who is the supervisor of Smekda TV.
This activity was opened by Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Education, Padang State University, Prof. Dr. Hadiyanto, M.Ed. “UnP’s Faculty of Education in this regard very positively welcomes this activity for the proactive steps taken by the Head of the Department and colleagues in the KTP Department who in this case can attract resource persons in the hope that later they can form a School TV association. We must respect this proactive step and support it,” said Prof. Dr. Hadiyanto, M.Ed. in giving a speech as well as opening the event. “Currently there are 13 School TVs that have been established in West Sumatra Province. Hopefully, they can form associations and further develop the products of School TV,” said Dr. Abna Hidayati, M.Pd as the head of the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology FIP UNP. The Head of the KTP Department in giving a speech expressed his hopes regarding the webinar being held. “We are trying to work together to further develop this activity.

The end of the webinar activity was followed by the formation of the West Sumatra Province TV School Association. The organizational structure of this association will be determined at a later date for further programs.
